Here I will describe to you in detail what we do in the beginner's course.
At the very bottom of this page you find a video of one of my courses to watch online.

Rainbow Fish Divers is not a diving school in any classic sense of Koh Tao. I set my sights not on having as many Open Water students in the 3.5 circadian rhythm to whip through the course. My diving school is a place for a week of your holiday or would like to enjoy it even more. It's not just about diving but also the recovery and jointly undertake other active activities. Having dinner together belongs here, as does the relaxing hours on the beach.

All other courses are normally not more than 4-5 people. We never do more than 6!

I'm not offering a 3.5 day course, otherwise I would just be the 56TE dive school on Koh Tao with the same concept. We take a lot more time for you than other dive shops, and therefore we do one more day and more time diving with you.
As I know, however, that many are pressed for time, there is also a mini-package with only 5 nights.

With me there is no boat by 6 clock early or tuition by 7 clock only to accommodate more students per day.

Also you get all at the end of your dive course a video of your last two dives are free with it. I have a full-time professional filmmakers who accompanied us on the last day on the boat and underwater. Then he cut the video and filed it with music. Have a look at the sample video at the bottom of this page times. All other dive schools will also do a video and at the end they sell it to you for 2500 baht. Thus I have it integrated into the course fee, you'll get it very cheap priced as an extra with it.

I have limited my dive boat to a maximum of 15 guests, other dive schools onto their huge ships up to 60 divers.

Every diver is suited with a dive computer for all dives from the boat. I am die only dive center of koh tao with this service.

A week looks at me for beginners in approximately the following dimensions of:
Day 1

From the ferry to me you need only 10 minutes on foot and you can therefore save an overpriced taxi (and the price negotiations).

Arrived at the diving center we have to do a little paperwork. But since I do all prefilled printouts for you, you have it much easier than any other student divers - Wherever in the world.
Now that I have you checked into the hotel, you have until 4 pm clock until some time for yourself . Then we look at a short video about diving course. I am of the diving organizations are obliged to demonstrate. Complain helps nothing, there must be through. But fear not, it is quite entertaining and you will indeed learn something.
So I am from the first minute your contact and regulate everything for you.

Directly in front of the diving center we go into the sea. And you're off to the adventure of diving! Day 2 – Discover Scuba Diving

We meet around 9 clock and I'll tell you in the classroom all that you have to know before your dive. Do not worry, we extend the theory to 3 days and thus this is not overwhelmed. First, there is the equipment that you want, after all, know beforehand how it all works.
Than an hour later it's already the first time in the water!
But first we build all shared together our gear and check us through each other. We are always on the safe side.
We start on the beach at the shallow water. Just so deep that everyone has his head under water. Now once we get used to the new environment and the unusual feeling to breathe with an aqualung. Do not worry, we have absolutely no stress and are in no hurry.
When everyone feel comfortable, then we dive in shallow water a little bit around.

In the afternoon you continue watching video.

Day 2 – Training Dive

Here we go again at 9 clock (not 7, as in other dive centers ...) and first again shortly classroom. This time I bring to you the equipment in detail and explain to you in detail how the physics of diving affects us.

During the practical session in the afternoon are a few exercises in the series. The aim of the exercises is to make us familiar with the equipment and learn how to behave properly underwater. For this we go back directly to the beach into the shallow water.
Then we feel our way for the first time into "deep" water. We go to about 2 meters. Again, we're releasing a few exercises, and try to learn to float underwater.
And then you can dive in principle!
Final preparation and you're ready go.

I visualize my entire teaching with PowerPoint. Day 4 Morning – Final theory

After breakfast, I'll tell you briefly what we have observed while diving. Diving at Koh Tao is very simple: The water is warm, there are hardly any waves and the visibility is usually good. But I prepare you when diving somewhere else in the world and there are dive sites that are much more demanding. Therefore, there is some information about tides, currents, and of course the Fischli. You'll also need to know, too, how the processes are regulated on a dive boat.

Day 4 Afternoon – Boat Dive 1 and 2

Now it gets really going! We go out on my boat and go diving in the ocean for the first time. But do not worry, the first dive we make only about 5 - 7 meters. We go into a sheltered cove and make ourselves comfortable in the sand once. But now that we have all got used to the sea and have again repeated a few exercises we are going for a dive.
Of course you will at our later dives still significantly more Fischli and coral look, but you'll be amazed at what you can find everything here already.

After each dive we usually about 1 hour break - so also now. We strengthen with coffee, tea, cookies and of course fresh fruit. Meanwhile, the captain brings us to our second dive site and I tell you what we'll find everything interesting.

Arrived we hop in again. Finally, I know from experience that I can hardly hold you and every wants to dive as soon as possible. This time we are already at about 12 meters and, as always, you'll notice that this is not "worse" and you really have no need to fear the depth. Most of this dive your first encounter with parrotfish, angelfish and the course Nemo.

At night you will all sleep well. :-)

Horse racing is always fun. Day 5 – Boat Dive 3 and 4

Today we go for 2 more dives. The first dive is with our deepest 18 m. T his is also the maximum depth to which you are allowed to dive with your soon acquired "Open Water" diving license.

After our surface interval we go then for another dive and make our final dive.

We are accompanied on this day my cameraman and filmed us the all day, even under water. So nice faxing, so the video is funny. (Below, I have such a video as an example to download reingestellt).

Back on land, gets her your diving license and are actually finished! The time pass ever so quickly.

In the evening we'll meet all together look at the video and celebrate in connecting your passing of the diving course.

Day 6 – Scooter tour
(Leaving day with Mini Package)

Now you explore Koh Tao on land. The last days you were so busy with diving course that you have nothing else seen from the island.

The route I recommend:

You drive to Freedom Beach, lay there on the beach and enjoy life :-)

Then you make an excursion into the Shark Bay. Here you go snorkeling. Arm yourself with patience and really calm and quiet can also really see black fin sharks!

Afterwards you relax with a massage.

More is not on the agenda, we have a lazy day ...
Freedom Beach Shark Bay

Korbi had so much fun that he stayed four weeks on Koh Tao and kept diving. Day 7 – Back in the water!

A lazy day on the beach was fine and dandy, but now everyone can barely hold out on the beach and you want to go back down!
You don't believe me now? Then wait and see ;-)

Today we take another 2 fun dives that means just dive. You must do no more exercises, your driver's license you have already!

You will be accompanied by one of my divemasters and he shows you even more Fischli than your have already seen in your Open Water course.

Those who are totally impressed by the diving, can on day 6 and 7 alternatively do the Advanced Course.
